Welcome to our website

Pause in your daily efforts
Take a few moments to still your soul and relax in your busy life.
Only a minute or two can be rewarding if it helps you to relax and face these stressful times. Life is constantly changing; the experts tell us that change in our lives brings stress and fear. Overcome that, relax for a moment.

A thought for today
Sometimes it is hard to find enjoyment in our lives. Stress, strain, and complexity all keep us from happiness and joy. The Apostle Paul certainly did not have much to be happy about when he wrote this letter to the congregation from his imprisonment in Rome. During his mission to spread the Gospel, he had been whipped, beaten until left as dead, stoned, ship wreaked and now falsely imprisoned. Yet he reached out to the believers at Philippi to encourage them and show that even in his situation, he rejoiced in his beliefs of Jesus and life eternal. He reaches out to each of us, today, with the same message.

Ever used the Zoom meeting rooms? It is simple and easy to do. The Covid 19 virus certainly has affected our lives, hasn't it? I know that it has changed my life, no gatherings, no visitations, no real physical contact.
We are forced to be creative and turn to other ways to bring our Lord and his message of love and support into everyone's lives. This is my offering to each of you.
Every Wednesday evening, please feel free to join our current Christian life Study at 7 pm, CDT (00:00 UTC). We are currently using Adam Hamilton's "The Walk". Please view the appropriate video prior to the class session. Email me to sign up for the study and to receive the access information.

Here are a couple of thoughts to help you through these troubled times.
Being forced to stay at home, unable to work or even go through our daily routines is stressful.
Keep in mind that you are not alone and there are many in this world that are not as blessed as you are, even now.
Does it really matter, anyway? Is it more than just another challenge in our lives? Most of our ancestors when through much worst in their lives.
